Mobile Apps at Events
An event mobile app can be many things but “fun” isn’t usually on the list. For the last couple of years I have been learning how to enhance our event mobile apps capabilities so fans can access all of our show information with ease. From designing the app site map, the layout and design, and creating the strategy for on-site communication, this project keeps me creative and up to date on all important mobile app analytics.
MagicCon Mobile App Growth
MagicCon has the easiest growth YOY because of our event cycle. I have highlighted our last two event cycles and the growth from where we began at Magic 30 (2022). The mobile app is one of my main projects that I focus on. The app is the leading guide for our fans to get all of the event information in one place! I am so proud of how far we have come with our app and the improvements I have been able to make year over year.

In App Scavenger Hunt
This is a fan favorite and a beloved project between myself and my co-worker Kelsey (content manager). For both Star Wars Celebration and MagicCon Events, we have put together some amazing Scavenger hunts that bring our fans together and connect them with the show floor. These Scavenger hunts have helped increase mobile app downloads, badge activation, and show floor activity.
